St. Kitts and Nevis joined the global annual celebration of International Human Resource Professionals Day on May 20^th, spotlighting the contributions of human resource professionals.

The 2026 theme is “Empower People to Lead Change” and the St. Kitts-Nevis Association of Human Resource Professionals in a media post shared: “To every HR professional in our community: you are a change maker. You build the cultures where people grow. You create environments where people thrive. While you invest in skillsets, you make a lasting impact on mindsets.”

The VON Newsline spoke with President of the Association, Ms. Sonia Edwards, who shared that they would be elevating the celebration through a partnership with the Caribbean Society of HR Professionals.
