EMT and Paramedic New Hires Expand Emergency Care at JNF Hospital

New recruits were added to the emergency medical team at the Joseph N. France General Hospital in St. Kitts, which include the island’s first ever paramedics.

 

 

 

The new personnel officially joined the hospital on Monday, July 14th, following their completion of a two month EMT Basic Training Course led by Seniour EMT Officer, Mr. Delbert Wilkes.

 

 

 

The team includes three (3) orderlies, six (6) Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), and two (2) paramedics, the first ever for the institution.

 

 

 

The orderlies consist of Mr. Nigel Brandy, Mr. Degen Elliot, Mr. Yasmani Lopez, while the EMTs are: Mr. Rowen Trotman, Mr Jervon Bonnie, Mrs. Gabrielle Williams, Ms Saidah Liburd, Ms. Desanna Whyte, finally, Mr. Janover Noa. The paramedics are Mr. Jorge Iribar, and Mr. Opealuwa Ostiye.

 

 

 

The team is made up of locals and nationals from Dominica, Nigeria and Cuba.
