Enquiries to be made “to ascertain cause of collision” in accident near Mount Nevis Hotel
A horrific accident is said to have occurred near Mount Nevis Hotel’s entrance, on the island’s main road at Cottle Long Path, on Wednesday Nov. 1st.
Authorities say it occurred between 11am & 11:30am. A police communiqué issued on Nov. 2nd, says the driver Terrelah Byron- Jones of Frigate Bay, St. Kitts, collided with the wall at the Mount Nevis Hotel’s entrance, with the vehicle extensively damaged based on photos and videos circulating on social media.
Mrs. Jones and her passenger, Adeejah Jones, were transported via ambulance to the Alexandra Hospital where they are currently warded for treatment of their injuries. Both were issued with medical forms.
The release for police stated “further enquiries will be made when appropriate to ascertain the cause of the collision.” No loss of life was reported.
