The Conversations, Reflections and the Way Forward discussion series has returned for a fourth season, examining the challenges, achievements and opportunities shaping St. Kitts and Nevis.

Commissioned by the Independence 43 Planning Committee, the four-part series is designed to encourage national dialogue on the Federation’s past, present and future. The first episode focused on the question: “One People: Can We Build a Stronger National Identity?”

Panelists explored the meaning of culture, patriotism and national identity, emphasizing the importance of preserving traditions while making them relevant to younger generations. Panelist, Desi Brown, a cultural activist and Dance Instructor, also remarked that teaching youths about our culture should involve innovation:
