EPPS receives turn key Shade house from Helen’s Daughters Organization

The Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School (EPPS) was recently the recipient of a turn key Shade House from the Helen’s Daughters Organization.

 

 

 

Helen’s Daughters is a non-profit organization based in Castries, St. Lucia, that focuses on the economic development of rural women through improved market access, adaptive agricultural techniques, and capacity-building. The donation to the EPPS would have been the first time the entity made such a donation to a school.

 

 

 

The donation was officially made on Friday, August 13th to the Ministry of Education (Nevis). Speaking about the plans in store for the shade house and also offering words of gratitude to Helen’s Daughters was Principal Education Officer, Ms. Zahnela Claxton:
