An event dubbed “An Evening of Musical Excellence”, took place on Saturday April 26^th, at the Marriott Royal Ballroom, St. Kitts. It was held under the distinguished patronage of Governor-General Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd. The pre-show began at 6:00 PM and Main event at 7:00 PM.

This year, it featured acts such as the Gairy Knight, Carmella Lawrence, the Honeybees String Band, and many more talented artists. Ms. Kamilah Lawrence, who was part of the organizing committee for Saturday’s event, told the VONNEWSLINE there is more to the music than just normal genres (such as soca, calypso):
