The Federal government has approved the establishment of a Senior’s Daycare Programme. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Drew on Monday, February 6th, 2023.
The programme comes following the Labour Party Administration’s pledge to assure the protection and safeguarding of Senior citizens in the federation.
The initiative is meant to maintain the dignity of older persons in the community, stimulate active aging and preserve the aspect of inclusion of seniors in the country according to Federal Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Marcus Natta:
