The federal government has announced the 2025 schedule for discounted Vat Days aimed at providing financial relief for citizens and residents of the federation and also to stimulate economic activity.

Friday August 15^th, 2025 and Saturday August 16^th, 2025, have been slated for Back-to-School Discounted VAT Rate Days to ease the financial burden of families as they prepare for a new school year. Persons are to note that vehicles are excluded for the discounted vat rate for this period.

For the holiday period at the close of the year, Friday December 12^th, 2025 and Saturday December 20^th, 2025, will also see a discounted vat rate. Vehicles are included for this period of discounted vat.
