Federal Gov’t to implement measure to deal with reckless motorists, following increase in accidents for 2023
Attorney General, the Hon. Garth Wilkin.
He made the comments on July 13th during the Prime Minister’s press conference. His comments also come in the wake of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), expressing earlier this month that it “is deeply concerned at the unusually high number of traffic accidents on both St. Kitts and Nevis, some of which have resulted in loss of life.”
Thus far for 2023, there have been four (4) road fatalities (all of which occurred in St. Kitts).
Additionally, St. Kitts & Nevis have recorded over 900 reported traffic accidents for the year so far: over 700 in St. Kitts, almost 200 on Nevis.
