Persons renting from private landlords, will see some relief from the Federal Government, taking into consideration that the COVID-19 pandemic is still ravaging the world including St. Kitts-Nevis.

Earlier in July, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Dr. Timothy Harris, announced that “small businesses which are renting from the Government, will receive a waiver for the next six (6) months, that is for the rest of the year, no rent will be paid to the Government.”

Dr. Harris urged private landlords to give some ease and spoke of the Government’s relief initiative:
