On the occasion of World Day for Safety and Health at Work, Federal Minister of Employment and Labour, Hon Marsha Henderson, sought to reiterate the importance of employers providing a safe and healthy work environment for their employees.

Along with the responsibility of the employee, Minister Henderson also spoke on the obligation of employees themselves to follow rules and regulations put in place at the workplace and report occupational hazards in a timely manner.
