Minister of Tourism et.al, Marsha Henderson, is said to be recuperating following an emergency surgery on Tuesday night Oct. 31st.

Prime Minister, Dr. Terrance Drew said on his Facebook page “I wish to inform the public of the current health status of our esteemed Minister… the Minister underwent emergency surgery, and I am relieved to report that the procedure was successful.”

PM Drew stated “at this time, I would like to express my well wishes and convey the collective prayers of our Government and the People of Saint Kitts and Nevis for her swift and complete recovery.”

The PM asked all to “respect her privacy and that of her family during this period. We are fortunate to have a strong and capable team in place, and the work of the Ministries she holds will continue smoothly in her absence.” He encouraged persons to pray for the Minister.
