Also appointed is Ms. Nikisha Hazel as Director of Institutional Nursing Services. A public health professional with 27 years of experience, Ms. Hazel has served in several senior leadership positions and is widely recognized for her contributions to nursing and midwifery at both the national and regional levels.

The Ministry expressed confidence that both leaders will strengthen healthcare institutions, enhance nursing services, and help drive continued improvements in the quality of care, reinforcing its commitment to building stronger health systems and healthier communities.
