World Aids Day was observed in St. Kitts & Nevis under the theme, “End Inequalities. End AIDS. End Pandemics.”

The day is an opportunity for public and private partners to spread awareness about the status of the pandemic and encourage progress in HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care around the world.

Junior Minister of Health-Nevis, Hazel Brandy-Williams, in light of the day’s observance, made these remarks.

She emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to end AIDS.
