That’s Minister of State with responsibility for Health, the Hon. Wendy Phipps.

Minister Phipps made the disclosure on Wednesday, March 25^th, 2020. She also provided more details about the individuals.

In the wake of the announcement of confirmed cases of CoVID-19, what solace can citizens and residents receive, to help allay fears of the spread of the disease?

Globally, as of March 25^th, there were 463, 412 cases of the virus, with 20, 912 deaths and 12 of these deaths, stem from the Caribbean. The countries are: Cayman Islands-1, Curacao-1, Jamaica-1, Guyana-1, Puerto Rico-2, Dominican Republic-3, Guadeloupe-1, Martinique-1 and Cuba-1. However, 113, 802 people have recovered from the virus.
