The National Bank Soca Semi-Finals was held on Saturday, July 18th at the Cultural Village in Charlestown.
There were two segments in this competition, groovy and power.
For the Groovy section, 10 competed for a spot in the finals, at the end, seven were successful and advanced. There are:
Delroy Huggins as “Delly Ranks”, “Rocko Browne as “Rocko Dan”, Ladonna Pemberton “Soca Empress”, Basil Prescott also known as “Blade”, Kelvin Kelly “Ras Kelly”, Franklyn Percival, stage name “T-Bone” and Jamie Parry as “Pakiss”. These seven (7) soca artists will battle for this year’s crown as well as the reigning monarch “Adito Morton known as “King Adowah”.
The three artists that did not advance to the finals were Petagay Morrison stage name “Ski”, Jevon Richards “West side” and Lenardo Robinson “Raw Skull Bad NF”.
For the Power segment, ten artists participated and seven (7) were also chosen for the finals. They are:
Jevon Lintch as “Jeezy Sparta”, Jason Kyte who answers to the name “KT Dan”, Jamie Parry as “Pakiss” and Ladonna Pemberton as “Soca Empress”, Basil Prescott, stage name “Blade”, Kelvin Kelly as “Ras Kelly” and Jarick Hodge as “2 Ranks”.
The remaining three artists were Jevon Richards known as “West side”, Lenardo Robinson “Raw Skull Bad NF” and Akedo Nisbett stage name “Ako”. The artists will challenge the 2025-2026 monarchs Ras Browne and Rocko Dan. The National Bank Soca Finals will take place on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 at the Cultural Village.
