During the delivery of the 2024 budget address, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew announced an initiative geared to benefit the nation’s youth. Along with the introduction of comprehensive financial educational topics to the young people of the federation, the government’s commitment stated that all citizens between the ages of 5-18 will receive a $1000 savings account, where $500 will be invested in shares of government majority owned companies.
