First batch of Tabasco seedlings planted in St. Kitts

The first batch of Tabasco pepper seedlings were planted at Fahies Estate, Newton Ground in St. Kitts, marking a significant step in the federation from its dependence on Citizenship by Investment (CBI) to its Sustainable Economic Expansion and Diversification initiative (SEED) promoting self-sufficiency and sustainable agriculture.

 

An official ceremony took place on November 6th to highlight the significance of this project, a collaboration between the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis and the worldwide popular hot sauce brand owned by McIlhenny, TABASCO®.
