First “Let’s Talk” for 2026 featured MLK Jr’s contribution to black people

The first edition of the award-winning “Let’s Talk-Talk that Get Results” show, featured a speech about the late Martin Luther King Jr.
MLK Jr was an American civil rights activist and Baptist minister who was a leader of the civil rights movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968. He advanced civil rights for black people in the United States through the use of nonviolent resistance.He protested legalized racial discrimination in federal and state law and civil society.
His beliefs, ideologies and aspirations for black people: have they come to pass? Or are we still in the same segregation phase? While on the Jan. 20th edition of the show, host Evered “Webbo” Herbert and panelist, Minister of Government-NIA, the Hon. Spencer Brand, shared the following:

On Monday Jan. 19th, Martin Luther King Jr. Day was observed in the USA. It is a federal holiday observed on the third Monday of January each year. The day celebrates his fight for equality through nonviolent protest and serving as a national day of community volunteering.
