As citizens and residents have expressed their shock at the recent spate of robberies in the Federation, another plague has gripped the nation, dubbed “Accidents”.
Police in SKN have making pleas to the public to drive with due caution and attention.
But on Friday Aug. 11th, an accident occurred on Nevis, on the island main road, in the vicinity of upper Stoney grove, between 6pm and 7pm.
It involved motor car PA 5482, which was being driven by Ivan James of Brown Hill, according to a police communiqué. Circumstances are that Mr. James lost control of his vehicle and collided into large rock situated on the mountain side edge of the island main road.
He sustained multiple cuts and bruises about his body and was taken to the Alexandra Hospital by the EMS to seek medical immediate attention for his injuries.
