That was one of the many calls heard on the February 11^th broadcast of “On the Mark”, to celebrate 35 years in operation of the Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies. Since opening its doors on February 14^th, 1991, the resort has played a transformative role in the economic and social development of Nevis.

As one of the island’s primary economic drivers, the resort stands as the second largest employer after the Nevis Island Administration (NIA). Beyond job creation, it has consistently invested in its people, offering extensive opportunities for professional development, training, and career advancement. Most recently, seven local managers were selected to participate in a pilot eighteen-month MIT Leadership Development Course, reinforcing the resort’s commitment to cultivating local leadership and excellence.

Over more than three decades in the local hospitality industry, the resort has demonstrated resilience in the face of hurricanes, temporary closures, and global challenges. Throughout its history, it has also welcomed numerous recognizable celebrity guests, further elevating Nevis’ profile as a premier luxury destination in the West Indies.
