Fourth and Fifth Formers next to receive Devices from the NIA’s Digital Literacy Initiative
That was Minister of Education, et. al, the Hon. Troy Liburd, during the latest Town Hall Meeting. He was speaking on the Nevis Island Administration’s (NIA’s) most recent efforts to boost digital literacy in public schools across the island.
According to the minister, a combined total of about 1500 devices were distributed to not only the various primary schools but to the first, second and third formers of the secondary schools.
In the next distribution of devices, due in September, in addition to the fourth and fifth formers, the teaching faculty on the island will also receive devices outfitted with the necessary programs and software to enhance their work.
