The Department of Gender Affairs on Nevis, in collaboration with Giggles and Growth, will host an Estate Planning: Wills Seminar on Tuesday, September 15^th, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park.

The session will be facilitated by Attorney-at-law, Mrs. Cindy Herbert and is open to everyone. It forms part of the department’s efforts to promote financial empowerment, informed decision-making and family protection.

Topics will include the types of property that can be disposed-of through a will, including land, buildings and animals, legal requirements for a valid will, amending or destroying a will, the probate process, and what happens when someone dies without a will.
