Government Clarifies Reports on Utah Shooting Suspect
Government Clarifies Reports on Utah Shooting Suspect
The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis has moved to clarify reports linking the Federation to the recent tragic incident at Utah Valley University.
An official statement says government records show no evidence that the suspect or his parents ever visited St. Kitts and Nevis. Authorities stress that the Federation remains committed to border security, with strict measures in place to protect residents and visitors.
The release also noted that access to the Federation’s shooting range is highly regulated, permitted only to licensed firearms holders under police authorization and supervision.
Nationals are being urged to act responsibility in sharing information and to rely on official government sources for updates, in order to protect the country’s reputation and ensure that only verified facts are circulated.
