So far several courtesy visits and introductory meetings have been held with the Hon. Troy Liburd, Minister of Education, et. al., as well as Ms. Zahnela Claxton, Permanent Secretary, and Mr. Jamir Claxton, Principal Assistant Secretary.
Ms. Yu would have also met with Deputy Principal Education Officer in the Department of Education, Mr. Juan Williams and several more meeting will be held with education officers and school leaders before the official commencement of the 2025 to 2026 Mandarin Programme.
In a media post the Ministry of Education, et. al., expressed their: “deep appreciation to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in St. Kitts and Nevis for their continued partnership and unwavering support toward the development of education in the Federation.”
