Class 5A3 of the Gingerland Secondary school has switched to remote learning due to a recent confirmation of COVID-19 exposure.
That is according to a release from the local Department of Education. The press release stated and I quote “The Department of Education acting on the advice of the Ministry of Health’s guidelines and protocols to decrease the spread of the COVID-19, hereby informs that the Form 5A3 students of the Gingerland Secondary School will transition to online learning via Microsoft Teams effective Friday, 17th September, 2021 until further notice….
In light of the aforementioned, parents of students who are enrolled in Form 5A3 are kindly asked to immediately collect their children from school,” end quote.
