Students of the Gingerland Secondary School (G.S.S.) closed one chapter of their educational journey on Thursday, November 30th.
This occurred during the 2023 Graduation and Prize Giving Ceremony at the Gingerland Methodist Church. Attending the event were Deputy Governor General Her Honour Mrs. Hyleeta Liburd, Acting Premier and Area Representative for St. Georges’ Parish-Gingerland, Hon. Eric Evelyn and Minister of Education, Hon. Troy Liburd.
The Principal’s Remarks were delivered by Mr. Kaino David, remarks were given by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Kevin Barrett, the keynote address delivered by Mr. Belvis Burke and the valedictory speech by Ms. Shaneh Evelyn.
Ms. Evelyn took the opportunity to thank all who had contributed to the success of the class and encouraged her fellow graduands to continue to overcome all obstacles:
