The newest recruits of the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force celebrated a significant milestone after completing months of demanding military training. The recruits officially joined the ranks during a graduation ceremony held on March 12^th, at Elquemedo Willett Park.

The programme, which lasted about seven months and was conducted entirely on the island of Nevis, tested the recruits physically, mentally, and emotionally as they prepared for service to the Federation.

Delivering featured remarks at the ceremony was Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, the Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, who congratulated the graduates and thanked their families for their support throughout the rigorous process. He also expressed gratitude to the Nevis Island Administration for its collaboration in hosting the training and graduation on Nevis, noting that it was the first time such an event had been held there.
