The recognition of History and Heritage Month in St. Kitts and Nevis was officially launched on Thursday February 1st.
Officials gathered at Matheson House at Taylor’s Range, St. Kitts to witness the commencement of the national acknowledgement. The month-long observation is designed to promote greater knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the history, heritage and of St. Kitts and Nevis among citizens.
In attendance were Governor-General- Her Excellency, Dame Marcella Liburd, Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, Minister of Culture, Hon. Samal Duggins, along with other key cultural stakeholders.
