Homicide rate in St. Kitts and Nevis reduced by 75%

The federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has seen a homicide rate reduction of 45% for the first half of 2025.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force made the announcement in a statement. They went on to say it was a “milestone that reflects the growing strength of our nation’s security, civility, and patriotism and is the result of consistent collaboration between the public and the police, and a powerful testament to what happens when citizens embrace self-love, national pride, and respect for law and order.”

Throughout the first half of the year, the RSCNPF said it has recorded a steady increase in public engagement across all categories of criminal activity as more residents are recognising that security begins at the community level.
