House Break-in & Larceny occurs in Prospect bandits made off with jewelry

A House break-in and Larceny occurred in Prospect, Nevis, on Sunday evening, November 6th.

 

Police have confirmed the incident and said the perpetrators made good their escape with an undisclosed sum of money and jewelry. The names of the individuals (or the victims) were not provided.

 

Inspector of Police on Nevis, Alonzo Carty, told the VONNEWSLINE, there were no reports of injuries to any individual.

 

 

Over the last few weeks, several incidents of House break-ins have occurred on Nevis. Bandits broke into the home of an elderly woman in the St. James’ Parish on the island. Recently, the “Cost me Less” store, situated at Beach Road was robbed.

 

Investigations into these matters and more are said to be ongoing.
