Charlestown Secondary School’s Delijah Clarke and the Gingerland Secondary School’s Adaijah Dore-Roberts are this year’s recipients of the Nevis Co-operative Credit Union Limited’s scholarship. The announcement was made on Monday October 16th, during a brief ceremony at the institution’s conference room on Chapel Street.
Accounting and Finance Manager at NCCU Londy Esdaille, said Clarke and Dore-Roberts are the 75th and 76th awardees of the programme. They also bring to 23, the number of students who are currently being funded by the NCCU:
Dore-Roberts, a resident of Zion Village and Clarke, a resident of Jessups village, was elated to be named this year’s awardees. Clarke delivered brief remarks on their behalf:
