Idea of Reparation for African Slavery discussed on Let’s Talk

The debate on whether descendants of slaves, from the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade should receive reparations, has sparked the interest of persons all over the Caribbean region.

 

 

 

Even though the topic has always been one of interest, it once again became a heated regional debate after a number of regional heads attended the coronation of King Charles III in the United Kingdom (UK). With some leaders being the featured in interviews in the UK, they took the opportunity to voice their views on reparations and the need for an apology from Great Britain for their role in slavery.
