On Wednesday, October 19^th, Jalen Monzac and Iana Franks were inducted as the new CARICOM Youth Ambassadors (CYAs) for St. Kitts and Nevis for the next two years. 

The ambassadorial corps members were also inducted into the programme, on the same day. 

The previous CARICOM Youth Ambassadors from St. Kitts and Nevis were Mr. Dwayne Hendrickson and Ms. Denaula Laplace.  

Junior Minister of Youth Empowerment in the Federal Government, Hon. Isalean Phillip presented certificates to both the new ambassadors and the corps members along with the Department of Youth, congratulated them on their achievement. 

The corps team, according to the Department of Youth, will work alongside the CYAs in support of related programmes and initiatives.
