The voice of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Mr. John Hanley.

The Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Jessup’s Management Team and the Department of Community Development hosted the Jessup’s Seafood Fiesta on Labour Monday (May 3^rd) at the Jessup’s Community Centre from 11:00 a.m.

As part of the Fiesta, a Creative Seafood Dish Competition was held with a total of six (6) participants. 

Each participant had to complete a meal that must include seafood, a starch, a vegetable and a garnish.

At the end of the competition, a 16-year-old was judged the winner:

This activity forms part of Exposition Nevis which is celebrated from the middle of April to the end of May. 

Mr. Hanley also spoke about the prizes that were offered during the Competition.
