Joshornnia Edwards named Top Female for CXC-CCSLC 2022

A past student of the Verchilds High School in St. Kitts was named the Top Performing Female in the Caribbean for the 2022 CXC-CCSLC Examinations.

 

 

 

According to cxc.org, CCSLC responds to the changing demands of education, and is designed to certify the knowledge, generic competencies, attitudes and values that all secondary school leavers should have attained.

 

 

 

Ms. Joshornnia Edwards was presented with a plaque in honor of her great accomplishment by principal of the school, Mr. Miguel Thomas during a ceremony held at the school on Friday, February 10th, 2023.

 

 

 

Offering congratulations to Ms. Edwards was Federal Minister of Education, et.al., Hon. Dr. Geoffrey Hanley.

 

 

 

In a Facebook post, Minister Hanley was quoted as saying: “Standing out in the crowd of elite students is a remarkable accomplishment worth celebrating. This certificate known as the Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence Award distinguishes Ms. Edwards among her peers and is indicative of her potential for success” end of quote.
