St. Kitts and Nevis will join with other CARICOM Member States as it recognizes July 4th as a public holiday.
The day will be acknowledged as Caribbean Community (CARICOM Day) as the organization will celebrate its 50th Anniversary, under the theme: “50 years strong: A solid Foundation to build on.”
The decision for the holiday was made during the Forty Fourth (44th) Regular Meeting of the CARICOM Heads of Government held in the Bahamas back in February.
CARICOM is a grouping of twenty countries: fifteen Member States and five Associate Members. It was established on August 1st, 197
