There is just about a week to go as Team Nevis counts down to the 53^rd Edition of the Leeward Islands Debating Competition (LIDC), from March 6^th to 8^th, in St. Maarten. It will feature the islands of Anguilla, Antigua, Nevis, St. Kitts and St. Maarten.

As the reigning champions, Team Nevis will automatically advance to the semifinals. This is Premier, the Hon. Mark Brantley:

Team Nevis consists of six (6) members of the Nevis Literary and Debating Society. They are President – Khalia Huggins-Simmons, Treasurer – T’Geonique Hunkins, as well as the members – Jeran Webb, Lauchele Herbert, Shirmia Thompson and Kijari Huggins.
