Keon Moore convicted of attempted murder at the Charlestown High Court on Wednesday
Keon Moore received a unanimous conviction during a sitting, marking the end of a trial, on Wednesday, March 13th, 2024.
Moore was convicted on two counts namely: attempted murder of Ellison Smith-Bartlette along with firearm possession with intent to endanger life.
The incident occurred on August 18th, 2020 in Ramsbury near the Alexandra Hospital. He is due for sentencing in the month of May.
Additionally, Guyanese national Lawrence Herbert of Cherry Garden was sentenced to 12 years for the attempted murder of Jerusha Odessa Shiwamber in May 2022 in the Cane Garden area.
