Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Mr. Adlai Smith. His comments were in connection with Khyron Philip, alias “Tall Up”.
He is wanted for the murder of 29-year-old Akeem Archibald, who was fatally shot with a high-powered automatic rifle in July 2024, while riding his motorcycle. This was the 18th murder for 2024. Following this, a warrant was issued in 2024 for his arrest. DPP Smith said in a statement in January, Philip fled the Federation by sea.
Meanwhile, in the same vein, Mr. Smith in a statement on Monday, provided an update on Crown Prosecutor Shantrice Dorset, who was charged with Misconduct in Public Office and Corruption among others (6 charges in total) in January, committed between July 20th 2024 and October 30th 2024, which are in relation with Philip. She shared information with Phillip, which helped him to flee the Federation by sea:
