Professionals from Saint Kitts and Nevis are among Caribbean nationals eligible to apply for scholarships offered by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) to pursue an International Master’s in Public Procurement Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Italy.

The scholarship supports the CDB’s efforts to strengthen procurement expertise and public financial management across its Borrowing Member Countries. The one-year programme, expected to begin in early 2027, combines classroom instruction in Rome, distance learning, a 500-hour professional internship and a final dissertation.

Applicants must be employed in a professional public procurement role within government or a qualifying Caribbean regional institution. They are generally required to hold a recognised master’s degree and have at least five years of procurement experience, including two years in public-sector procurement, although exceptions may be considered.

The scholarship covers tuition, travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses, along with certain visa and administrative costs. Successful candidates must secure employer approval for their studies and remain with their employer for at least 12 months after graduation.
