Police are investigating the passing of an 80 year old man, who sustained injuries in a boating incident that occurred at the Frigate Bay Marina, St. Kitts, on Monday morning Sep. 21^st.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force said the deceased has been identified as Larry Armony of Sandy Point.

A police spokesperson says Mr. Armony, “sustained injuries to his pelvis and left leg after coming into contact with a vessel while in the water in the vicinity of the Marina.”

He was attended to by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the scene and subsequently transported to the JNF General Hospital for medical treatment.

Unfortunately, he passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday Sep. 22^nd (almost 24 hours later). Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
