Lawmen investigating vehicular accidents on Nevis

Police have confirmed to the VONNEWSLINE that an accident took place at Colquhouns Corner on Nevis on Saturday May 13th.

 

 

 

Based on their findings, vehicles involved were: – Motor jeep P-7336 (owned by Urban Jones), driven by Orion Jones of Liburd Hill and Motor jeep PA-8878 (owned by Pansy Moses), driven by Terry Sam of Craddock Road.

 

 

 

Both vehicles were travelling in opposite directions. When they arrived at Colquhouns corner, PA-8878 crossed into the opposite lane and collided with P-7336.

 

 

 

The driver of PA-8878 sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Alexandra Hospital via ambulance.

 

 

 

Meanwhile, a vehicular accident occurred on Sunday night (May 14th). No further details were provided about this incident, but an emergency outage took place the following day Monday May 15th, because of the accident, the Nevis Electricity Company Ltd (NEVLEC) says.
