“Let’s Clean Up” campaign to continue Feb. 19th for St. George’s residents

“Let’s Clean Up”, a campaign put on by Area Representative St. George’s Parish (Gingerland) Nevis and Federal Minister of Environment, the Hon. Eric Evelyn, will continue on Feb. 19th.

The campaign includes clean-up activities for white goods (such as stoves, washing machines etc.) scheduled for the month of February. The 1st cleanup activity was held on Feb. 5th but “because of the wet conditions that prevailed at the island’s landfill”, according to Mr. Evelyn, a similar cleanup activity which was slated for Feb 12th was postponed.

During Wednesday’s edition of the “On the Mark” program, Minister Evelyn, told the Nevisian public where the bins will be.

Minister Evelyn made this plea to Gingerland’s residents.
