The Federal Ministry of Information, Communications, Technology and Posts in St. Kitts and Nevis is celebrating a proud achievement.
Permanent Secretary, Cheryleann Pemberton has been appointed Second Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO), following the CTO’s 63rd Council Meeting, which was held in July at Marlborough House, London.
As Second Vice Chair Mrs. Pemberton will help shape the strategic direction of the organisation, which promotes connectivity, innovation, and sustainable development in telecommunications across member states. She said she is honoured by the trust placed in her and looks forward to advancing technology as a driver of socio-economic development across the Commonwealth.
The ministry believes this appointment will strengthen St. Kiss and Nevis’ position within the CTO, while boosting collaboration, knowledge-sharing and growth in the global ICT sector.
