In the wake of Nevis’ Rollout of the COVID-19 Vaccination program on February 24^th, Lone Member of the Opposition in the Nevis Island Assembly, the Hon. Cleone Stapleton-Simmonds, explained to the VONNEWSLINE why she was unable to participate in the launch. 

Wednesday’s event, which was held at the Charlestown Health Centre, saw Members of the Nevis Island Assembly and Frontline Workers such as: (Doctors & Nurses) receiving the Oxford Astra Zeneca Vaccine. 

Stapleton-Simmonds mentioned that leading up to the time of the call, no official word was given:
