The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of thirty-seven (37)-year-old Dwight Jacobs Greenaway commonly known as “Mac-11” of Buckley’s Estate, St. Kitts.
The police responded to a report on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 sometime between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. of gunshots heard at the Samuel Williams Playfield in Verchilds, St. Kitts.
Upon arrival at the Playfield, Mr. Greenaway was found laying motionless on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds about his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Preliminary reports suggest that he was attacked by more than one armed assailant.
According to a press release, the Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and collected all items of evidential value. Greenaway’s murder has now brought the tally of murders in the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis to 17. It also shows that the last five victims were executed within the space of twelve (12) days.
