One man has been charged with murder, which occurred a little over two years ago.

A police communique says Romeo Browne, also known as “OG,” of Cayon, St. Kitts, has been charged with the offence of Murder committed against the late Kelvin Millard of Cayon on January 21^st 2024. Mr. Browne was charged on Tuesday February 3^rd 2026, at the Basseterre Police Station.

Police say the fatal shooting took place along the island’s main road in Cabbage Tree, Cayon, between 3AM and 4AM.

Mr. Millard was accosted by a number of armed assailants while he was returning to his vehicle. During an apparent attempt to escape the attack, his vehicle collided with a flamboyant tree. Authorities discovered Mr. Millard motionless in his vehicle. This was the first murder of 2024 in SKN.
