Man found guilty and sentenced 3 years in prison for Malicious Damage

Alphonso Eddy of Boon Avenue, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Malicious Damage, committed on June 7th, 2024.

 

Mr. Eddy was found guilty and sentenced to serve three (3) years imprisonment with his time spent on remand to be counted as time served.

 

His sentence was handed down on April 9th, 2025 by Her Honour, Ms. Yasmin Clarke at the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court in Basseterre, St. Kitts.

 

 

Meantime, Kishorn Williams of Lower Monkey Hill, St. Peter’s, St. Kitts, has been charged for the offences of Possession of an Imitation or (Fake) Firearm, Shooting At With Intent, and Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Prevent Lawful Apprehension.

 

 

The offences were committed on April 5th, 2025, at Pine Gardens, Shadwell, St. Kitts. Mr. Williams was charged on April 8th, 2025, at the Basseterre Police Station.

 

 

Additionally, the police have confirmed that another male who was with Mr. Williams at the time, had a real firearm and fired in the direction of the police. He will therefore be charged jointly as the police continues with their investigation.
