The VON NEWSLINE was reliably informed that a shooting incident took place in Conaree, St. Kitts on Thursday morning.
Reports indicate that one person sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle. The VON NEWSLINE will bring you more information on this incident in a subsequent newscast.
In more police news, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is investigating the armed robbery of Ram’s Cash and Carry Wholesale Supermarket at Bird Rock, St. Kitts.
The criminal act was committed on Wednesday, June 21st, 2023 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Preliminary reports indicate that three masked men armed with guns rushed into the supermarket and stole an undisclosed sum of money from the cash stations and vault.
They subsequently made their getaway in a vehicle.
The Crime Scene Unit processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value.
